Kia had the largest improvement in both those categories by a sizeable amount in the EPA's recent "Light-Duty Automotive Technology, Carbon Dioxide Emissions, and Fuel Economy Trends: 1975 Through 2011" survey, with an 11.6 percent fuel economy gain, and adjusted CO2 performance reduction of of 10.1 percent from 2009 to 2010.
