In the spirit of "Give it Everything," Kia Motors America today announced that the company will round up its "Yards Against Homelessness" contribution to $1 million. The donation is part of the company's charitable initiative against youth homelessness, having pledged $1,000 for every yard gained during Sunday's Big Game -- which totaled 748 yards.
The $1 million will be shared among Covenant House, Positive Tomorrows and StandUp for Kids. It follows the creation of "The Great Unknowns" scholarship last year and reflects Kia's continued commitment to support and elevate America's youth.
Through February 16th, people throughout the U.S. are still encouraged to join Kia and Josh Jacobs, the pro-football running back that starred in Kia's 60-second Big Game commercial, in the fight against youth homelessness by texting 'HOME' to 41444 to donate.
