Dual wireless phone chargers allow you and your front-seat passenger to keep your smartphones charged up while you travel. Higher Telluride trims add a 12.3-inch digital instrument display.

The 2027 Honda Pilot also comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, but its graphics and overall appearance seem low-tech and outdated. While it also comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, it doesn't include dual wireless device chargers like the Telluride.

Safety

Your safety should never be overlooked, and the 2027 Kia Telluride makes it a priority. It comes standard with seven driver assistance technologies, including intersection collision mitigation. This handy feature warns you of an impending collision during a left turn and automatically applies the brakes when necessary, helping you avoid potential accidents.

The 2027 Honda Pilot comes standard with cloth seats, though leather-trimmed seats are available in higher models. Even so, the interior lacks the premium ambiance of the Telluride.

Cargo Space

Fortunately, the 2027 Kia Telluride provides 22.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row. Folding down the third row of seats expands the area to 48.7 cubes, and with both rear rows folded, the Telluride has 89.3 cubic feet of room to store your belongings.

The 2027 Honda Pilot only has 18.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row of seats, 48.5 cubic feet with the back row down, and 87 cubic feet of room when the second and third rows are both folded.

Although the 2027 Kia Telluride changed out the standard V6 engine for a four-cylinder powertrain, the new setup is turbocharged for surprisingly strong power output. It now generates 274 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque for plenty of get-up-and-go when you need it. It also earns an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. A Telluride hybrid is now available that reaches up to 36 mpg on the highway.

The 2027 Honda Pilot's lone powertrain is a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 that makes 285 horsepower. However, torque is most important for quick acceleration and this powerplant only generates 262 pound-feet of torque. A hybrid engine is not available in the 2027 Honda Pilot.
