Here at Arapahoe Kia, we are excited to announce that the Kia Sedona will be returning to the 2014 lineup after a one year hiatus. We had a good feeling it would be coming back soon since it had been quite successful on the market after its 2006 release, but now it's confirmed that with its return it will feature some upgrades that are definitely worth checking out.
For starters, the new Sedona will sport a refreshed grille and premium accents. It will also include crash-safety protection that meets global standards, along with reduced emissions. We think this one year break for the model allowed the automaker to make it better than ever.
With its return the refreshed minivan will be available in a Base Sedona LX trim and for a bit more luxury, a leather-lined Sedona EX trim. Even though each options is receiving a bit of a price bump when compared to the 2012 model, it will most definitely be worth it considering what comes standard on board.
Standard features include a backup warning sensor, Bluetooth, SiriusXM radio and audio controls mounted on the steering wheel. For the EX model drivers can also enjoy a backup camera, fog lights, power seats, and a more luxurious interior. These are of course just a sampling of the features available.
Under the hood, the Sedona will sport a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that uses a six-speed automatic transmission to power the front wheels. According to Kia, it is rated to achieve 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.
If these details have you eager to try out the new minivan, you're in luck! The Sedona goes on sale this month and will most likely be sticking around for a while.
