During the season of auto shows, Kia has had quite a few exciting models to bring to the table. We love this time of year as we get the opportunity to get a sneak peek of what we can expect in the new Kia lineup. To get people excited for its new four-door coupe creation, the automaker decided to unveil it close to its home base at the Seoul International Motor Show.
Known as the Kia CUB Concept, this model is designed for drivers living in urban areas who want to make a statement by being trendsetters. From what we can see by the photos that have been released, it is most certainly designed to attract some attention with its stunning two-point LED lights and rounded body lines.
With a sleek front design, the new coupe is being described by Kia as having a "cheerful" face. It also shows its sporty flare with the large air intakes included in the lower part of the front bumper. Measuring about 13.1 feet in length, this compact CUB definitely packs in a lot of great style and features.
Under the hood, it sports a 1.6-liter GDI engine that cranks out 204 horsepower and 195 pound feet of torque. Another great feature is the Driving Information System (DIS) that links to a gesture camera to provides drivers with a safer way to use it while on the road.
While we would love to see this model come to dealerships like Arapahoe Kia, the automaker hasn't released any plans for it to go into production.
