Here at Arapahoe Kia, serving drivers in the greater Denver area, we are happy to kick off the month of October, and to celebrate Kia is going pink. You won't be seeing the new Kia lineup offering a new paintjob, however. Instead, Kia Motors America has teamed up with HerHighway.com in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
If you're wondering what HerHighway.com is, allow us to explain. The website acts as an online hub to empower women through automotive knowledge. It was conceived by some of the brightest female minds in the auto industry and also works to fight against breast cancer. Kia is helping out by supplying several special vehicles that will be driven in the HerHighway.com "Drive Breast Cancer Awareness" event.
The group invites all kinds of drivers to participate in an eight-day trek across the nation to help raise awareness for breast cancer. Along the way, there will be stops in many different cities to talk about the trip and its cause. Kia is providing three different models for the drivers of the HerHighway.com event. They are, the Kia Optima Hybrid, 2013 Soul and Sportage SUV.
Of course, all of these vehicles are perfect for a road trip across the country with the Optima Hybrid giving you excellent fuel economy, the Soul providing plenty of space within its compact frame, and the Sportage allowing you to stretch out inside its roomy cabin.
If you'd like to learn more about the HerHighway.com event, check out their website. If any of the new Kia models set to drive cross-country in support of breast cancer awareness interest you, stop in to Arapahoe Kia, located at 9400 East Arapahoe Greenwood Village, CO 80112. We're always happy to answer any questions you might have on Kia models, and can arrange a test drive at your convenience.
