After months of critiquing spy shots and speculating on what's to come, Kia officially released its first photos of the 2014 Kia Sorento, and they were met with loads of excitement here at Arapahoe Kia. While the spy photos were proof of a refreshed Sorento, we decided to hold back on telling greater Denver area drivers until Kia made the announcement themselves.

So while the South Korean automaker confirmed that the utility vehicle zipping around the Nurburgring in Germany is in fact the new Sorento, there are still plenty of details that we'll have to continue to wait on, like an official United States release, since the 2014 Kia Sorento has only been debuted on its European website. Of course, that's pretty normal, and we should see a U.S. launch pretty soon.

Enough with the release details, we're sure everyone wants to know what's new on the latest edition of the Kia Sorento. Well, on the outside, there are very noticeable changes, like a refreshed grille and front-end now equipped with LED headlamps that are positioned to give the Sorento a modern and stylish look. Not only that, but there are new 19-inch alloy wheels, and much more fluid design structure from front to back.

No interior shots of the Kia SUV have been released, but we do know that you can expect a LCD instrument cluster to be reworked on a seven-inch display that offers plenty in the way of information and entertainment. There will also be some leather finishing worked on to many parts of the Sorento, which will certainly give it a more luxurious feel.

While we're sure many of these details have you chomping at the bit to get behind the wheel of a 2014 Kia Sorento, you'll have to wait until an official availability date is released. However, here at Arapahoe Kia, we have plenty of current Sorento models, along with a whole lineup of new Kia vehicles to choose from. Located at 9400 East Arapahoe Greenwood Village, CO 80112 we're always happy to answer any questions you might have, and arrange a test drive as well.
