At Arapahoe Kia, we know many of you were waiting to see the newly-redesigned 2014 Kia Forte sedan make its debut on the auto show scene before it arrives at dealerships like ours serving the greater Denver area. Well, that day finally arrived at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and the 2014 Forte has certainly lived up to the hype.
You'll probably remember we wrote about the 2014 Forte here on our blog earlier in the year, describing its new and refreshed looks. Seeing it again and getting the most in-depth preview of the new sedan thus far has really ratcheted up our excitement, and we think you'll agree.
The new Kia Forte is visually striking, boasting a much bolder stance than ever. That's thanks to new design lines, and a more aerodynamic look. Of course, as we mentioned before, the new Forte is a bit longer and wider for more comfort, style and performance.
Like many new Kia models, the 2014 Forte will have plenty of powertrain options to choose from. You will be able to decide from a 1.8-liter four-cylinder or a 2.0-liter option. The first produces 148 horsepower and 131 pound-feet of torque, while the 2.0-liter option churns out 173 hp and 154 pound-feet of torque, providing ample performance for the sedan, no matter which engine you choose.
Let's not forget the inside of the new Kia Forte either. It includes a center console with all the latest technology trimmings, power steering with mounted controls on the wheel, heated seats and steering wheel, and much more.
