The Kia aficionados at Arapahoe Kia would go great lengths for any outstanding new Kia model. That being said, three weeks living inside a 2012 Kia Soul...well...that's a bit much. Don't get us wrong, we love the funky, boxy Soul and all the latest techno features that come with it. But we'd prefer to place the model into our daily life, rather than the other way around.
Such was far from the thought process of three Ohio-based ladies. Deanna Sutorius, Vanessa Branch and Rachel Cothey all spent three weeks eating, sleeping and breathing together within a single Kia Soul at a North Olmsted dealership. The prize? A shiny new Soul of course. While only one contender drove home keys in hand after 21 days, the other two received $2,500 rewards. All three left the competition with a new appreciation for the model's interior room not to mention a strongly-formed friendship.
Vanessa Branch says, "We've been through a lot."1 In this case, "a lot" includes suffering everything from stinky feet to missing the family. Each of the ladies was allotted a quick hourly bathroom break as well as a small handful of fifteen minute breaks a day as well. By the end of the three-week period, all were proud of the accomplishment but eagerly awaiting their first warm shower.
